Job description: Imagine being one of the key leaders of a nationally recognized unique YMCA/city partnership operating a brand new 52,000 square foot facility with indoor pool, gymnasium, senior center, teen center, fitness center, aerobic studio, kids zone and multiple activity rooms. This newly established facility needs a leader dedicated to exceptional service, uncompromising quality and the ability to work with two organizations to achieve agreed upon goals and objectives to benefit the entire community.

Responsibilities:

Use your well developed skills in health and wellness programming, management, marketing, supervision, and financial stewardship to take this facility to the next level. In cooperation with the City’s Recreation Manager and direct Supervision from the YMCA Executive Director the Associate Executive Director of CRC is responsible for the supervision and operation of the Health and Wellness programs, Membership and Marketing, Welcome Center Services, Kids Zone, and additional programs determined and agreed upon between the YMCA and City. It is essential to work collaboratively with the City of Morgan Hill staff as well as other community organizations in order to optimize cost recovery, provide a variety of programs and services for the community and ensure the overall success of the CRC.
Req. candidate profile : Additional Qualifications:

The successful candidate should value diversity, youth, teens and have a broad vision of health and wellness, which is enhanced by relationship building. The Associate Executive Director of CRC must have the ability to participate, contribute and work with multiple staff and volunteer teams. Position requires 5 years of proven success in management in a similar environment with an annual budget of more than $500,000. This position requires a 4 year degree in health and wellness, recreation or related field. Community collaboration experience and bi-lingual skills are a plus.
