Job description
Job description: Consult with Web Development Manager and project team leaders to design, build, and troubleshoot web sites/interfaces, as well as associated software components.
Work with team members to prepare functional specifications from which programs will be written: design, code, test, debug and document programs.
Build relationships with customers to determine business requirements that will drive Web site planning.
Perform testing at multiple levels of the applications developed.
Provide technical consultation in new systems development and enhancements of existing systems.
Provide time estimates on the development of projects and features, and meets committed deadlines.
Troubleshoot issues with existing systems, and works with the appropriate resources to resolve them.
May lead subprojects and provide technical direction to other IT personnel.
Req. candidate profile : Bachelor degree or equivalent work experience is required.
3-5 years ASP, HTML, DHTML, JavaScript and CSS experience required.
2 Years ASP. Net, C# experience required.
3-5 years of SQL, T-SQL and Stored Procedures programming experience required.
2 years of XML, XSL required.
2 years VB6 experience required.
Windows 2000, 2003 and IIS experience required.
Java, Linux, full text searching, Lucene is preferred.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently as well as in teams required.
Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines required.
