Massachusetts Energy Consumers Alliance is a nonprofit organization with a dual mission of making energy affordable and environmentally sustainable. Based in Boston, Mass Energy offers programs involving heating oil and green power.
Essential Job Functions:
Learning about the Green Power markets and renewable energy development in New England
Answer phone calls and handling member requests for the Green Energy program
Calls to renew contributions from past members, and marketing calls to recruit new members
Represent Mass Energy at some events
Data entry
Produce large mailings
Other administrative tasks as needed

Additional Qualifications:
Outgoing and friendly personality that will represent the organization in a positive way
Strong verbal communications skills and data entry ability are required
Well organized, excellent attention to detail, ability to manage many different tasks
Flexible schedule, prior customer service, or fundraising experience is a plus
Some familiarity with green power, climate change, energy, and environmental issues is a plus
