Excellent opportunity for a highly organized and motivated individual to create and supervise meaningful programs for our future leaders. Under the direct supervision of the Associate Executive Director, Program Director is responsible for Overseeing six After School programs, Supervision of Six Site Directors and Volunteer programs. We are searching for someone with the passion, energy and desire to provide our community with quality programming and exciting new ideas. General administrative duties include staff and volunteer recruitment, selection, training, supervision, recognition, fiscal management, promotion, marketing, program development and quality control, assisting with Community Support Campaign and branch events |

This position requires a commitment to the YMCA mission and its core values of: caring, honesty, respect and responsibility. Additionally, the YMCA values diversity, youth, and a broad vision of health and wellness which is enhanced by relationship building. After School programming has tremendous importance and unlimited potential and the ideal candidate will possess passion for working with many segments of the East Valley community. This position requires a minimum of 2 years experience in youth and family programming. Candidates must have experience in fiscal and program management and be able to develop and nurture strong relationships with schools and other community agencies through networking, programming and collaborating to address community needs. Physical ability to lead and interact in group activities and perform related physical skills is required. Current First Aid and CPR w/ AED certifications are required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire. |
