Combined Jewish Philanthropies, one of Boston’s premier philanthropic organizations, known for supporting innovative programming and partnerships in Greater Boston and around the world, needs a talented writer for our Communications team.
Senior Writer to write compelling copy for marketing materials that promote CJP’s mission, programs, services and events. S/he will also work closely with the Development Department to create creative and persuasive speeches and fundraising materials. The Development Writer will serve as an integral member of the Communications Department, providing writing and editing.
Req. candidate profile :
The successful candidate will have excellent, writing, editing and proofreading skills. S/he will be adapt her/his writing style as needed and be able to handle multiple talents at once, prioritizing and managing complex tasks in a fast-paced environment. Candidates should have 2-4 years work experience in a related field and a Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, English or related field. The successful candidate will also possess an active understanding of the Jewish world, religion and tradition.
