This is a new opportunity to for an experienced Training and Recruitment opportunity for an international leader in it's field.
Objective:
To lead the coordination, implementation, management, and evaluation of functional, management and leadership training programs. To play a pivotal leadership role in creating and leveraging recruitment opportunities and processes in order to facilitate the hiring and sustaining of top talent.
Job Responsibilities:
Work closely with HR team, functional and site leadership to identify, develop or source training and developmental initiatives.
Create training matrices for key positions within the organization in order to appropriately address the key competencies and knowledge required to execute the relevant tasks.
Develop a viable, sustainable training plan which identifies the key learning programs and elements which support the business strategy and critical successful factors.
Identify and help implement model(s) to assess learning needs.
Support the evaluation and assessment of training programs. Includes monitoring survey data, identifying trends, and taking corrective measures to enhance or alter the training.
Establish appropriate measurements and metrics which measure training effectiveness and ultimately align to the business strategy.
Deliver and/or facilitate selected leadership content/material as required to support the Leadership programs.
Work with training sources, and other vendors in order to remain current with key training initiatives, programs and trends.
Determine most cost-effective method to deliver training.
Help enhance the quality of training skill competency of select personnel within the organization, such as sales and marketing personnel.
Support the recruitment process by working with HR staff and hiring managers to identify need, screen applicants, interview and assist in the selection.
Proactively source candidates and recommend to the organization.
Coordinate on-campus recruitment initiatives, including career fairs and interviewing.
Track and follow-up with applicants from on-campus recruitment and career fairs.
Identity most effective recruitment sources and advertising mediums.
Look for opportunities to enhance recruitment and selection processes; leverage new tools and techniques.
Qualifications:
Post-secondary education with a minimum of 5 years relevant experience.
Knowledge of adult education and preparation/presentation of training materials.
Previous experience with behavioral interviewing.
Demonstrated experience in recruitment of talent.
Exceptional relationship management, facilitation, coaching, and consulting skills.
Strong listening and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated initiative, creativity and innovation to drive breakthrough thinking on organizational and people issues.
