| Job description: | Contract position for an experieinced BUSINESS SYSTEMS ANALYST in the Toronto area.
The Business Systems Analyst is responsible for transforming business information into a Logical Data Model. The emphasis is on understanding the business usage of data and representing that into data models. ROLE DESCRIPTION: - Capture and document business requirements including SLA, Security, User management, User access - Produce business specification document - Design and develop test plans - Requirements traceability to LDM and PDM process - Conduct system test and support user acceptance testing - Execute test plans - Publish test results and report defects *** KEY SKILLS INCLUDE: Requirements identification and analysis, Documentation, Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), SQL /Teradata SQL. |
| Req. candidate profile : | EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS :
The successful candidate must have at least 5 years as Business Systems Analyst work experience, proven high degree of knowledge in Business driven data requirements, coupled with knowledge and understanding of the Physical Data Modelling requirements. High capability of formal Modelling documentation and presentation is also a pre-requisite. Must have : • Strong presentation and communication skills • Strong facilitation skills with executive-level business users • Experience with Teradata preferred • Experience with Teradata Industry standard Logical Data Models preferred • Business Analysis experience, and knowledge of Financial Industry.
