| Job description: | 6 month contract for a Development Test Engineer in Mississauga.
Title: Development/Test Engineer Summary Description: This is a development/test Engineer position, with emphasis on automated test development. This role involves white box testing Java code using JUnit, Ant, Lisa and designing, developing and supporting test cases, test plans, and QALoad test. This engineer should be very familiar with developing test material in a multiple application server environment (IBM WebSphere, Tomcat, JBoss). |
| Job duties: | Responsibilities include:
Working closely with the engineering team to prepare test specifications, test plans, and actual test execution, including the web-based application (graphical) user interface, as well as, the installation and database setup and maintenance. |
| Req. candidate profile : | Basic Qualifications
• 2+ year(s) of Java software testing experience • 2+ year(s) of Java software development experience • Experience in delivering commercial software products • Fluent in SQL • Familiar with Linux and Windows • BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent. |
