This position will report directly to the Sr. Manager of Campaign and Website Reporting and Analytics.
The candidate will be the primary resource in the marketing department responsible for strategic analysis
Analysis of marketing spend effectiveness, including ROI / NPV as well as other campaign metrics
Work with the campaign reporting team to enhance the existing reporting and analysis of marketing spend to generate strategic insights and increase the visibility of spend effectiveness
Work with the website reporting team to enhance the existing reporting on site usage with an emphasis on driving actionable insights
Assist in the preparation and presentation to senior marketing management of spend and website effectiveness analyses
Provide support for the annual strategic plan / budget process
Perform ad hoc marketing analyses as needed by senior marketing leadership
Req. candidate profile :
4-5 years total experience
Strong business / strategic analysis background
Preferably, experience in financial services / direct marketing environment
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Word
Preferably, experience with Business Objects
Basic knowledge of enterprise data structures
Basic knowledge of statistical theory (e.g. regression, correlation)
Education, Certification, Training:
Must have a BA/BS, preferably in a quantitative field (Math, Comp Sci, Econ, Engineering) or in Business Administration, MBA a plus
Professional and Technical Skills:
Ability to multi-task. Attention to detail.
Strong analytical skills and experience are required
Good project management skills with the ability to proactively communicate updates, issues and launch schedules to marketing managers
Strong work ethic
