| Job description: | Manager, Yield Management
A global leader in the containerized shipping industry is looking for a Manager, Yield Management to join in Concord, CA. With our parent company founded in 1884, we specialize in maritime trade and transportation. Primary Position Responsibilities are to : -Overall evaluation of cargo profitability -Guidance to Pricing on rate/yield issues. -Manage MVP Process -Coordinate Regional budgets and reconcile with Tokyo budget - Facilitate String Management Meeting and ensure follow-up issues. - Cross-trade issues - Guidance to Line Management on customer/cargo priorities - YMI guideline parameters - Individual trade requests for analysis - Support Deployment change in view of YMI impact - Monitoring various policy/direction/measures are appropriate - Ensure optimal cargo mix for TP Non-dominant direction Requirements: -4 year college degree BA/BS in Economics (or similar) required -Demonstrated responsible industry related management experience 5 + years.
