Vernon Tryon Job Description SAP/Basis, either in MA or AZ Responsibilities Duties: Install, upgrade and maintain SAP systems for companies. Provide database services and consulting to the design and implementation teams, SAP Application design team, and the SAP System Administration and Operations teams. Analyze, develop and maintain data architectures and process models within SAP for company. Evaluation and design of interfaces between SAP R/3 and external systems, maintenance of the SAP Data Dictionary and database objects, and manage the migration of SAP database and application configuration into production. TMS,client strategy and maintenance, system performance tuning and monitoring, application of Hot Packs and OSS Notes. |
| Job duties: | Experience Qualified candidates will possess the following experience:
BS in Information Systems or equivalent, 5+ years experience SAP Basis administration Experience with at least two SAP R/3 and one ECC5 or ECC 6 implementation, as well as experience in TMS , client strategy and maintenance, system performance tuning and monitoring, application of Hot Packs and OSS Notes, installations of new hardware and SAP software, upgrades and backup recovery procedures. This applicant should be one who can thrive in a fast-paced, team environment, while excelling in solo operations. He/she should also possess excellent problem resolution skills in addition to good written and oral communication dexterity. Must have “hands-on” administration (installation, configuration, and upgrade) experience with: • SAP R/3, ECC5 or ECC6 on a Unix/Oracle platform SAP new dimension products such as EP 6.0, BI 7.0, CRM 5.0, SRM and APO.
