Andrew (www.andrew.com), headquartered in Westchester, IL, is an S&P 500 company founded in 1937. This position will be responsible for the contract negotiation of frequency relocation for incumbent users in the new AWS spectrum. This position will work closely with legal in the creation, review, and execution of the contracts. Job qualification requirements include: contract negotiation, contract creation, contract execution, project management, critical thinking, creative problem-solving skills, and the ability to learn the technical nuances of complex microwave systems. An understanding of microwave systems engineering, interference analysis and installation will contribute to effective negotiations. Essential Functions: 1. Communication with incumbent and client with regard to deliverable and scheduling 2. Contract negotiations of replacement system 3. Project management and implementation of new microwave system Education and Experience Minimum Required Skills / Competencies: -BS in related field & 5+ years industry experience OR 10+ years of contracts experience in Telecom -Solid negotiating/facilitation skills -Proven contract negotiation experience in either microwave relocation or other relevant fields such as site acquisition Project management of multiple contracts and schedules -Familiarity with microwave installation, integration, and commissioning is a plus -Strong written and verbal communication skills with diverse groups -Detail oriented and very organized -Flexible; Must have the ability to multi-task and meet rigid deadlines -Attention to detail and high regard for quality assurance -Computer literate and proficient in Windows suite of office tools, microwave design and interference analysis |
