| Job duties: | Duties:
This position is in support of the mission of the Submarine Electromagnetic Systems Department to conduct a program of full-spectrum. applied research, exploratory development, systems analysis, development, evaluation, and acquisition leading to improved submarine electromagnetic systems, emphasizing communications, optics, electronic warfare, electromagnetic compatibility, and periscopes. Serves as the Senior Project Manager for Submarine Periscope Configuration Management Program (CMP), providing project management for improvements made to each Periscope Configuration Item (CI) throughout its life cycle. Implements life cycle maintenance, providing a systematic review of requested engineering changes. Maintains configuration status accounting via the Advanced Interactive Management Technology Center (AIMTC), Configuration Item Data Management System (CIDMS). Supports the Periscope Program Manager in the area of Configuration Identification Support by maintaining the identity of the Periscope CI |
