Job Description
Responsible for the direction, planning and management of all sales activities for an assigned geographic area. Under general supervision, incumbent is responsible for providing the coordination and implementation of successful promotional strategies through various sales channels to penetrate cellular market(s) using products and services. This position has 7 direct reports and 105+ indirect reports including Retail Store Managers, Indirect Sales (i.e. Sam’s Club), and B2B Sales and this position covers a large area of Alaska. This is one of the most highly visible and important positions in the company.

Job Responsibility:
Client would like someone from a large wireless carrier with a multiple channel sales distribution background in a larger geographical coverage area. Would look at someone from a local carrier but would prefer the larger carrier experience. Candidate should understand the principles and practices of supervision and training, have working knowledge of management principals such as negotiating and competitive strategies, working knowledge of Accounting Theory (must have had P&L responsibilities in their background). Should be proficient at managing internal communications (i.e. selling ideas and promotions). Effective time management and organizational prioritizing of work load. Must be a self-starter, enthusiastic and outgoing personality . This person will be the face of the company in Alaska and must have the personality to support it.
Req. candidate profile :
Experience Requirements:
Bachelors in Business, Marketing or related experience preferred.
Required three plus (3+) years experience in a similar management capacity, human relations, sales. Significant sales and marketing background in the Wireless Industry.
Broad general management experience with financial understanding
Articulate, well spoken, strong individual.
