| Job description: | The Security Supervisor assists the Security Director and the Security Managers in supervising the activities of the Officers, and implements directives according to the Standard Operating Procedures manual.
The Security Supervisor: * Has full knowledge of SOP manual and uses in approach to a variety of situations. * Must be able to handle pressure situations such as medical emergencies, theft, irate patrons and employee counseling. * Monitors all Officers actions and conduct. * Evaluates performance of Officers. * Maintains professionalism at all times. * Prepares daily and weekly scheduling of line staff. * Has excellent report writing skills. * Performs all other duties as assigned. * High School diploma or equivalent (GED) required * One to two years of previous security experience * Good communication skills * Excellent report writing skills for routine reports and correspondence * Ability to apply commonsense reasoning to a variety of situations. * Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions in written, oral or diagram form. * Must be able to work with and motivate staff. * Must possess a valid driver?s license * Computer literate candidates are preferred. |
