The Financial/business analyst will help to make that vision a reality by supporting Sales, Network Development, Administration, and other functions on financial planning, decision support and business performance analysis. Working within the Finance and Accounting team, this position will partner with Sales, Network Development, HR, Accounting, and Technology functions to provide financial analysis and business decision support. |
| Job duties: |
- Manage the quarterly forecast and annual budget process
- Perform monthly business and department variance analysis against the budget
- Create and publish standard metrics reports, providing insights into trends in revenue and cost drivers
- Provide thought leadership and analytical firepower to key business decisions through advanced financial, quantitative and strategic analysis
- Partner with the Controller and management regularly to identify and evaluate financial issues and opportunities
- Partner with Sales and Accounting in developing financial planning models, metrics, and control processes and systems

| Req. candidate profile : |
- 3 to 6 years work experience in consulting, or within a corporate or business unit of a FP&A department, preferably in a high growth media or internet company.
- Demonstrated initiative and success in leading and implementing and improving financial processes.
- Superior intellectual and quantitative analysis capabilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Superb attention to detail and the ability to prioritize and deliver in a fast paced and dynamic environment.
- Advanced skills in the following areas are required: Microsoft Excel, Access, Pivot Tables
- Exposure to the following applications would be helpful. QuickBooks and leading enterprise wide accounting systems, including Hyperion forecasting/budgeting systems.
- Exposure and some knowledge of SalesForce automation tools. MBA a plus
