Job description Job description: Egenera has been shipping its datacenter virtualization system since 2001, bringing unmatched experience and innovation to more than 160 enterprises, service providers and government agencies worldwide. Responsible for penetrating Fortune 500 companies in order to deliver marquee accounts and revenue to Egenera. Define key target accounts Prospect sweet spot targets Work closely with key Systems Integrators and Egenera Technology Partners to identify and penetrate target accounts Understand corporate and project level needs and how the Egenera value proposition meets those requirements Devise sales proposals Identify, qualify and evaluate sales prospects Submit proposals and close business Provide first class customer satisfaction Req. candidate profile : Minimum of 4 plus years selling large UNIX/Linux/Windows server technology into large enterprise-class datacenters. Experience in multi-million dollar transactions and cultivating significant relationships with a CIO, CTO and VP-level customer base across large enterprise organizations. Working closely with and cultivating strong relationships with key systems integrators. Strong understanding of UNIX/Linux/Windows servers as well as SAN/NAS technology and networking. Excellent presentation skills and experience in managing RFP responses, etc. required. Additional requirements include: Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university Power-based selling sales skills considered a plus Familiarity with TCO/ROI oriented analysis and proposition creation Familiarity with the cost, service and operational issues of the Enterprise Data Center How to apply : Register to view Third party mediation allowed : No Telecommute : No
