Job Title: Director, Marketing
Reporting to: CEO
Reporting Subordinates: Manager, Marketing Communications, Webmaster, Project Manager
Location: Central, NJ
Department: Marketing
Scope and Purpose of Job:
Lead a global marketing team that plans and implements all marketing communication activities.
Collaborate with all business units and corporate management to bring new and fresh product marketing ideas to the organization.
Manage brand strategy.
-Strategize, implement and manage the development and execution of all marketing collateral worldwide.
Major Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
-Oversee the marketing strategy for all company products worldwide.
-Conduct market research to support business initiatives.
-Develop sales support materials and tools
-Oversee reconstruction of company website. Develop, implement and manage new web marketing tools for company’s web site in order to drive website traffic, educate our customers and drive sales.
-Provide guidance to product managers and execute product marketing communications.
-Develop, manage and protect the corporate brand strategy.
-Manage company global trademark registrations.
-Accountable for ensuring that the corporate branding is consistent over all products and the marketing vehicles meet global best-practice standards and are consistent with the overall marketing strategy.
-Oversee all activities related to public relations, creative services, advertising, trade shows and special events with the goal of establishing and maintaining a favorable image of the company and its products with potential customers, the public, investors and employees.
-Create annual marketing strategic plans in collaboration with product managers and business units.
-Develop and manage annual marketing budget.
-Lead and administer the new product planning process and project management process.
-Coordinate with cross-functional groups to develop the marketing requirements and functional specifications for new products and new product features.
- Gather input both internally and externally to define new product concepts and/or develop additional product line expansions.
