| Job description: |
A staff analytical chemist must be able to work with a wide variety of sample types and develop pragmatic and timely analytical solutions to meet client needs.
1.Responsible for supporting the development of analytical methods on assigned client projects. Performs method development for analytical procedures including writing method protocols and method development reports;
2.Responsible for performing routine analytical tests in the separations lab which includes HPLC, GPC, GC, GCMS, IC and CE;
3.Maintain laboratory instrumentation and supplies in the separations laboratory;
4.Participate in teams to define and execute solutions for technical challenges associated with deformulation, product development, quality control, process monitoring, chemical assay requests;
5.Prepare clear and concise written summaries of experimental results;
6.Is able to organize his/her time to meet client deadlines and to work safely and responsibly with minimal supervision;
7.Maintain a safe and organized working environment

| Req. candidate profile : |
Minimum Bachelor's or Master’s degree in (bio)chemistry, analytical chemistry or physical-organic chemistry, with related experience or training in separation techniques (HPLC, GC, IC, CE, GPC). Ability to work with limited supervision. Detail oriented. Excellent written and verbal skills. Working knowledge of cGMP, GLP, and ISO 17025 is desirable. |
