Key responsibilities: • Act as a lead designer for product development projects • Work closely with Design Director, industrial design, mechanical and electrical engineering team to make new product introductions and product enhancements. • Create 3D surface and solid models of new product assembly and detailed part drawings in Catia V5 • Recommend existing product improvements • Model and prototype creation and product testing |

| Req. candidate profile : | Qualifications:
• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Design • Minimum of 3 years of product design experience • Expert with Catia V5 and be able to assist other engineers with CAD modeling • Excellent knowledge of plastic design, materials and processes • Knowledge of electrical basics an asset. • ‘Hands on’ experience with building functioning prototypes an asset |
