Dedicated to providing highly personalized customer service supported by innovative technology, Donlen Corporation is North America's fastest-growing fleet leasing and management company. Headquartered in Northbrook, Ill., and with offices throughout the U.S. and in Canada, we are passionate about providing the best service in the industry to our customers.
Founded in 1965, Donlen today has more than 110,000 vehicles under management and more than 250 employees. Through its subsidiary in Canada and partnerships throughout the world, we provide a global reach for our customers' fleet needs.
Throughout our history, we have focused only on providing fleet management services. Because of this, Donlen is a leader in providing groundbreaking enhancements to its customers. Among the many things Donlen has introduced to fleet leasing and management include electronic communication with customers (pre-dating e-mail), online vehicle ordering, online vehicle sales and the first fully integrated Internet-based fleet management system, FleetWeb®. Awarded first-place honors from Microsoft as the "best e-commerce solution" upon its introduction, FleetWeb provides a convenient and scalable platform for Donlen and its customers to monitor every aspect of a fleet.
In early 2005, we introduced CARE, the Customer Activity and Request Engine, a custom-built technology platform that ties together all of Donlen's customer service and systems functions. We also launched the Vehicle Lifecycle Calculator, an interactive approach to determining the best value for fleet vehicles. Because of advances like these, Donlen was named a Finalist for the 2005 American Business Awards, and was named one of the top 100 companies by the International Association of Outsourcing Professionals.
For 40 years, Donlen has helped customers achieve an efficient and cost-effective approach to operating their vehicles. This singular focus and innovative approach has proven to be successful: At Donlen, "We're Changing the Way You Work®" is more than a tagline, it is our commitment to our customers.
