Casino Careers Online has a client seeking a candidate for a Guest Services Administrative Supervisor position.
The position description is as follows:
The Guest Service Administrative Supervisor is responsible for the maintenance, upkeep and follow up for the administration of the Department, including but not limited to the Gift Shop, purchasing, internal controls, training manuals and employee handbook. They will assist Management with payroll issues and resolutions. Researching price quotes and ordering merchandise for Guest Services, Entertainment, Player Development, Gift Shop and other Departments within the facility, as advised by Managers and/or Director. Researching price quotes for decorations and processing requisitions/check requests for reoccurring events/promotions. Initiating and monitoring training programs for department employees. Maintain control of the Complaints log. Manage the processing system and hold discussions and training sessions with Supervisors that are not following procedures. Update the complaint book annually. Attend monthly facility focus groups. Take notes, compile information and submit to Guest Services and Marketing directors. Order catering for the meetings. Schedule tours of the new facility for members of the focus groups. Research participants questions prior to the next meeting. Attend monthly Department focus groups, listen to employee concerns/suggestions and recommend solutions. Will be involved in the Responsible Gaming program as it relates to Guest Services. Representing the department at committee meetings as requested by Management. Additional daily, weekly or monthly projects will be assigned.
Requirements
A high school diploma or GED and at least one (1) year in a supervisory position in a Guest Services environment are required. Must have clerical experience to include typing, filing, faxing and familiarity with word processing and spreadsheet programs. Pre-employment math test is required with a passing score of at least 60. Must be able to obtain and maintain a Class "A" Gaming license issued by the Casino's Gaming Commission.
