| Job description: |
Position Specific Requirements:
Supports research, product development, and manufacturing efforts.
Designs, runs and gathers data for a series of experiments.
Analyzes and documents test results in laboratory notebook.
Assists organizing and maintaining the work area.
Assists with calibration, validation and maintenance of test and product equipment.
Participates in the design of new test methods and procedures.
Responsible for evaluation and testing of material and medical devices.
Support Product Development with prototyping. Work with other support staff to develop and build fixtures, tooling, and molds.
Performs other related duties as required.
Qualifications:
High school diploma with three years of experience in a related field or an Associates degree with one to three years experience. BS degree with none to two years experience. CAD experience required, preferably Solid Works but Pro E or any other CAD modeling software would be acceptable. The ability to handle multiple projects and meet timelines. Ability to communicate with both internal and external customers. Excellent computer skills must include word processing and spreadsheet experience. Good analytical and problem solving skills.
