Job description: Casino Careers Online has a client seeking a candidate for a Media Buyer position.

The position description is as follows:

Description

Responsible for creating media plans and supporting documentation. Will negotiate media rates/buys and added value merchandising. Responsible for researching appropriate media vehicles and prepare research documentation for the marketing department. Creates insertion orders and expedite placement. Communicates with account executives and traffic department regarding ad materials. Sourcing, evaluation and executing new media opportunities and sustainable, scalable partnerships. Negotiating and reviewing advertising agreements (rates, placements, parameters, etc). Analyze research and ratings data.



Requirements

Knowledgeable of Northen California Media Market. Bachelor’s degree or four years of equivalent work experience or a combination of: managing media activities in an advertising agency or in-house marketing department. Must be very organized and detail oriented. Excellent communication and writing skills required. Responsible for managing multiple, competing priorities, duties and/or projects. Proven ability to accommodate evolving responsibilities and last minute changes. Must possess strong decision-making, organizational, planning and problem-solving skills. Excellent project-management and time-management skills. Ability to work well independently and within a team environment. Must be PC proficient and have sold working knowledge of Microsoft Office (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
