| Job description: | Casino Careers Online has a client seeking a candidate for a Service Technician II position.
The position description is as follows: Responsibilities / Duties: Demonstrate computer literacy. Maintain detailed knowledge of the Casino Restort's game platforms. Perform pre-site inspections. Install, remove, convert, perform preventive maintenance, prepare games, set options and repair games in a field environment. Read and translate schematic diagrams. Troubleshoot problems for customers and other technicians. Devise conversion instructions from configuration comparisons, lead small conversion projects, and display ability basic planning and scheduling. Provide some supervision while mentoring junior Techs. Assist senior technicians in the planning of major projects. Gather Data and follow-up with AR Report on engineering issues. Maintain accurate inventory of parts issued. Educate customers of basic game functionality. Resolve customer disputes and perform jackpot verifications. Interface with customers on installation and service activities. Properly document repair, preventive maintenance, machine prep, standard power analysis and pre-site work. Follow documentation, policies and procedures, and perform tasks with little supervision. Maintain a positive image of the Casino Restort's with co-workers and the Casino Restort's customers. Work in a team oriented environment. Adapt to various jurisdictions and interface with compliance officers. Proper installation of secure communications environment (phone room, CVT room, DCU room, etc). Requirements Qualifications: High School Diploma or Equivalent. Minimum 3 years Electronics or Slot Tech experience required. Prior Slot Technician experience desired. Knowledge and understanding of AC/DC fundamentals. Ability to read and translate schematic diagrams. Knowledge of tools and experience using the tools is required for position. Computer literacy and basic understanding and knowledge of computer networking. Experience with computer networking desired. N+ Certification, A+ Certification or similar certifications desired. Able to obtain and keep gaming and driver’s licenses with clean record. Demonstrate the ability to resolve customer disputes and perform jackpot verifications. Ability to pass the Casino Restort's security background check, pre-employment and for-cause drug tests. Willing to travel in New Mexico and possibly other areas when required, work varied shifts, work overtime, work a stand-by schedule and carry company phone/pager. Ability to work in adverse condition for an extended period of time. Ability to follow policies, procedures and safety guidelines. Ability to work well under pressure and take direction from supervision. Able to work in a team oriented environment. Demonstrates the ability to learn tasks applicable to level position. Ability to maintain a neat appearance. Ability to maintain personal tools for position. Ability to regularly lift 75 pounds. Ability to stand a full shift. |
