Job description: Casino Careers Online has a client seeking a candidate for a PBX Supervisor position.

The position description is as follows:


The PBX Supervisor is responsible for the daily operations of PBX service and operations. The PBX Supervisor is responsible for making sure that internal and external phone calls are answered timely and routed accurately by PBX staff. This is a working supervisory position.

Major Responsibilities/Activities

Answers incoming telephone calls, routing calls to appropriate person/department
Assists directly with routine inquires utilizing appropriate call volume indicators.
Tracks, analyzes, and communicates call volume and call information detail to provide increased customer service
Provides direct supervision to PBX Operators including hiring, scheduling, training, disciplining, evaluating, and releasing staff as necessary.
Individual is expected to be aware of business activities and events as they relate to the department and the entire property and communicating events with staff and guests.
Orders and maintains supplies, and arranges for equipment maintenance.
Participation and support in special projects also provide project level support when needed
Utilizes low call volume periods to advance the interests of the Marketing department and Casino.
Maintain a strong commitment to provide support for the casino’s initiatives, programs, goals and special projects.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED required.
Two (2) years supervisory experience, preferably in the hospitality industry
Previous experience utilizing multi-line telephone systems.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to communicate with multiple levels of management.
Must have advanced Computer capabilities.
Knowledge of spreadsheet software and word processing software preferred including use of Microsoft products including Word, Excel, Outlook.
Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.
Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred.
Must be able to obtain and maintain the Casinos Gaming and Regulatory Commission key gaming license.
