Job description
Job description: Casino Careers Online has a client seeking a candidate for a PBX Operator position.

The position description is as follows:

Answer internal and external phone calls; transfer calls to departments throughout the Casino; provide guests with general information about Casino amenities and services including outlet/venue hours of operation, point of contact, event room location, etc.

Major Responsibilities/Activities:

Answers incoming telephone calls, routing calls to appropriate person/department
Assists directly with routine inquires utilizing appropriate call volume indicators.
Participation and support in special projects also provide project level support when needed.
Utilizes low call volume periods to advance the interests of the department and Casino.
Individual is expected to be aware of business activities and events as they relate to the department and the entire property.
Maintain a strong commitment to provide support for the casino’s initiatives, programs, goals and special projects.
Maintains supplies and communicates need for equipment maintenance.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

High school diploma or GED required.
Two (2) years customer service experience, preferably utilizing multi-line telephone system.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to communicate with multiple levels of management.
Must have advanced Computer capabilities.
Knowledge of spreadsheet software and word processing software preferred including use of Microsoft products including Word, Excel, Outlook.
Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.
Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred.
Must be able to obtain and maintain the Casinos Gaming and Regulatory Commission key gaming license.
