Basic technology experience to include but not limited to: • LAN/WAN environments and complex network system. • Technical and NOS expertise in the design and implementation of multi-vendor and multi-protocol networks • Cisco routers, switches, firewalls, network design, troubleshooting and implementation. • Windows, Unix/Linux software, change control systems, network topologies, Ethernet, Token-Ring, TCP/IP, and other protocol. • Various Servers Exp • OpenView modules • Visio, Excel • Hand on exp with emerging technologies. • Analytical, research, planning, organizational, presentation, and written / verbal communication skills. • T-SQL and scripting / web languages - VBScript / ASP, HTML, and JavaScript • Mainframe systems, routers and switches, servers, web applications and more • CiscoWorks, Cisco Routers, Compaq Insight Manager, HP OpenView, and BMC Patrol Express. Possible needed certifications: • CCNP • CCIE Some positions require NOC Exp and the ability to work night, weekend and evening shifts.
