ANALYTICAL CHEMISTRY TECHNICIAN-VASCULAR SYSTEMS (KO)

Position Specific Requirements:
Responsible for the daily operation of analytical instrumentation.
Responsible for analytical methods development and material characterization in support of company projects.
Responsible for managing samples submitted for analysis and analytical system resources.
Responsible for the preparation of chemical solutions including HPLC mobile phase and dissolution media.
Maintain compliance to all regulatory standards for sample and personnel safety.
Assure the technical soundness of analytical methodsa and data.
Analyze and translate experimental results into design criteria.
Prepare reports and document progress with senior management.
Perform other related duties as requested.
Qualifications:
BS/BA in Analytical Chemistry 0-3 years experience working in a laboratory setting. Demonstrated problem-solving skills. Good technical and interpersonal skills. Ability to multitask and manage concurrent responsibilities, such as resources, samples submitted for testing and instrument operation. Experience with multiple analytical techniques such as UV/vis, FTIR, HPLC, GC, TMA, and DSC a plus.
