| Job description: | Must have thorough work experience in the installation, implementation, deployment, and
troubleshooting of the following operating systems and server based applications: Windows 2000 Pro Windows XP Pro Windows Server 2000 & 2003 Windows Small Business Server 2000 & 2003 Microsoft Exchange Server 2000 & 2003 Microsoft SQL Server 2000, Pervasive SQL Server, Sybase SQL Anywhere Citrix Metaframe, Citrix Presentation Server Must have thorough working knowledge in the installation implementation, and troubleshooting of: Routers, Firewalls, Switches, VOIP, VPN's, QOS Must have thorough working knowledge of network fundamentals and protocols (such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, DNS, Active Directory, Group Policy, and Profile Management) Must be able to analyze an organization's business needs and then the related design, implementation and maintenance of the network infrastructure to support those business needs Must be able to design and manage an organization's LAN and WAN Must have strong understanding of troubleshooting networking problems, such as network switching, routing, traffic shaping, network protocols, program scripts, batch files and authentication, be open minded to flexible solutions and have the initiative to engage in process and technology enhancements Must have strong overall troubleshooting and problem solving skills BS degree in Computer Science or Engineering field is preferred (or equivalent work Must have MCSE certification (or equivalent work experience) Must be a strong team player with a positive attitude and be committed to the success of the overall team Must have strong written and oral communication skills Must have good interpersonal skills with a customer service orientation Should have experience with Network Management procedures and tools Must be willing to work occasional nights and weekends, and participate in an on-call support rotation Must have automobile and be willing to travel throughout tri-state area via automobile and/or public transportation when necessary Candidate must stay abreast of new technologies and industry news BENEFITS - Health Insurance - Disability - Paid Vacation - Paid Sick Leave - Retirement Plan |
