Job duties: ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
The professional we seek will be a key member in driving the company towards a World Class Supply Chain Organization. Individual will be responsible for managing suppliers to support the operation of the facility to include production materials, tooling, maintenance, repair, and operating supplies (MRO), capital equipment, and services to ensure sources of supply at the best value using Total Cost of Ownership Analysis. This individual will effectively negotiate pricing, terms and condition, qualify suppliers, establish contracts, monitor performance, prepare and submit forecasts, establish supplier managed inventory programs, and ensure the facility has all materials necessary to operate efficiently. Additionally, this individual will be responsible for monitoring inventory levels and turns, annual productivity improvements in the form of raw material cost reductions, all communications with suppliers, and other objectives of the Purchasing Department. Proactively drive supplier related issues to closure. Must possess solid communication skills, high initiative, assertiveness and the ability to excel in a cross-functional team environment.
Req. candidate profile : SPECIAL EXPERIENCE OR EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
· Minimum 7 years Experience in a Manufacturing Environment.
· BS/BA Degree, MBA a plus
· Financial Acumen
· Experience in Global Multi-Year contracting.
· Develop and Drive Global Sourcing Strategies to Leverage Spend
· Commodity Market Trend Analysis
