We have an urgent requirement for the position of Sr. Web Developer Location: River woods, IL Duration : Straight Hire-Full Time Availability : Immediate Description:Meet several needs, including content management, request forms, and workflow. The Web Developer will also assist in generating visual and written content for the site Detailed Responsibilities: · Review existing website and incorporate current best practices in web development. · Prototype new features and design changes. · Develop new functionality for posting site content, accepting online request forms, and routing requests through workflow. · Assist in the creation of artwork and written content. · Develop test plans for site upgrades and perform QA prior to release. · Resolve reported website issues. Skills Required : · Strong knowledge of HTML, JavaScript, CSS, XML, and XSLT. Candidates should be able to provide examples or images of previous work. · Practical experience with AJAX and Web 2.0 development techniques. · Understanding of basic graphic and visual design principles. · Knowledge of graphics editing tools such as Photoshop. · Solid analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to find innovative approaches to address issues or meet requirements. · Excellent skills in written communication. · Work as part of a team or independently, as required. · Strong initiative with the ability to prioritize and manage workload. · Bachelor’s degree or higher. Skills Desired : · B.S. in Computer Science or related field. · Macromedia Flash development. · Louts Domino development. · Experience implementing the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) with web-based applications.
