Position Summary: The Administrative Assistant is responsible for providing clerical and administrative support to the Director of Membership/Outreach Services. |
| Job duties: |
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
•Organize department work to meet scheduled deadlines.
•Maintain a data base of administrative volunteers.
•Maintain a list of girl placements.
•Maintain team budget information.
•Provide secretarial support.
•Process committee correspondence and arrange meetings.
•Accept and record telephone messages for the membership staff.
•Maintain a central membership/marketing file.
•Pick up and sort mail for the Director of Membership/Outreach Services.
•Maintain the daily organizer for the membership department.
•Maintain a file of community events and flyers.
•Maintain inventory of the departmental supplies.
•Perform other duties as needed/requested.
•Contribute to the goal of creating an inclusive organization by working harmoniously with diverse staff and volunteer personnel and ensuring that all systems, practices and procedures are inclusive.

| Req. candidate profile : |
Skills, Education and/or Relevant Experience:
•High school diploma
•Type accurately 60-65 wpm
•Computer literate with knowledge of computer hardware and a variety of software including Microsoft Word 97, Excel 97, Access 97 and Outlook 97
•Excellent customer relations skills
•Internet/web site knowledge a plus
•Bilingual in English and Spanish
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills
•Ability to work harmoniously with diverse staff and volunteers
