| Job description: |
Front Desk Receptionist/Administrative Assistant (FT). For large fast paced urban synagogue. Hours 7 a.m. - 3 p.m. Monday through Friday. Close to the green line train and bus line. |
| Job duties: |
Responsibilities:
Answers telephone and forwarding messages in a professional, accurate and pleasant manner
Light data entry
Assist in general functions of the Organization
Correspond with customers, affiliates and vendors
Qualifications:
Proficiency in customer service
Must be extremely organized with the ability to prioritize work and multi-task
Must be able to follow directions
Punctuality, reliability, responsibility, flexibility
Excellent telephone, written and face-to-face communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word), email and ability to learn new programs quickly
Friendly, helpful and patient
Interact effectively with people
Able to record information accurately
Able to project a professional manner at all times
Good interpersonal skills
Willingness to take on administrative tasks that supports the team and goes beyond the call of Duty.
Team player
Able to maintain control and composure in difficult situations
