| Job description: | Casino Careers Online has a client seeking a candidate for a Security Officer position.
The position description is as follows: Position summary: Perform a variety of escort tasks including escorting money to and from the Cashier’s cage and various departments on the property. Escort personnel during drug testing procedure. Essential job functions (includes but is not limited to the following): May be required to administer urine/oral drug tests. Provide verification when performing inventory checks on specified orders that are delivered to the property. Patrol the entire hotel resort premises and maintain order, enforce regulations. Ensure the observance of applicable law. Assist/escort guests. Warn or eject troublemakers, caution careless persons. Perform age verifications on patrons that appear to be underage. Assist Management and Enforcement officers in emergency situations. Operate motor vehicles, such as vans, pick up trucks and golf carts for the purpose of shuttling passengers and patrolling the hotel property. Assist and work harmoniously with allied agencies. Conduct investigation of crimes and injury accidents. Prepare written reports documenting investigations of specified incidents. Respond to medical situations of all types and provides First Aid as necessary. Other job related duties as assigned. |

License/certification: State of Nevada gaming permit, TAM card. Qualifications: High School diploma or equivalent required. Previous experience in Security, Law enforcement or Armed Forces preferred. CPR certification and First Aid training preferred. Must be able to deal with various levels of personality traits and maintain self control. Must conduct oneself in a professional and efficient manner during interaction with people. Must possess basic Math skills. Must have integrity and a basic desire to protect and serve. Salary Range: $10.00 hour Equal Opportunity Employer. Pre Employment Drug Screening Required. Benefits: One free meal per shift worked. Health Insurance, to include Dental and Vision is available to Full-Time team players after six (6) months of Full-Time employment. 401(k) is available to team players who are at least 21 years old and have been employed for one (1) full year. |
