Casino Careers Online has a client seeking a candidate for a Security Manager position.
The position description is as follows:
Responsible for the loss prevention functions of the Facility including company assets, the gaming floor, customer and employee security and safety.
Plans, develops, selects and directs the staffing, supervision, training and scheduling of all Security personnel.
Responsible for ensuring all applicable laws, rules and regulations of the company are firmly and fairly enforced.
Directly responsible for the supervision of all investigations performed by the Security Department.
Promotes positive public and employee relations.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Essential Duties:
In the absence of the Director of Security, oversees security operations.
Selects, trains, develops, schedules and directs the Security staff.
Plans and implements systems to ensure compliance with federal, state and company rules and regulations.
Identifies and controls risks and threats to the safety and assets of the company, patrons and employees.
Responsible for the determination of persons for probable cause for the purpose of notifying law enforcement and/or state gaming authorities.
Controls and maintains the issuance of temporary access badges.
Creates and administers department budget.
Maintains a file of company reports for all situations which the Security Department employee is assigned.
Controls and maintains company-wide key control throughout the property.
Formulates, implements and educates on company policies and procedures.
Attends periodic meetings and training sessions.

Requirements:
Work/Educational Experience:
Must have at least three years experience in a job with similar responsibilities.
Must have excellent PC, communications, planning, organizational and delegation skills.
Prior law enforcement experience and at least an associate’s degree in criminal justice or a business major.
Must be a team player.
Must also have a valid driver’s license.
Minimum 18 years old and ability to obtain appropriate license pursuant to the NY State Lottery regulations.
Starting Salary: $48,000 Commensurate with Experience
