| Job description: | Casino Careers Online has a client seeking a candidate for a Director of Security position.
The position description is as follows: Responsible for all operations of the Security Department. Ensure that all assigned duties are performed quickly, efficiently, and according to the established departmental and Company polices, procedures, and goals. Work with other departments to assure proper security staffing/coverage for various Hotel Resort special events. Other responsibilities include maintaining Officers' performance on Guest Service, asset protection, Team Member/Guest protection, and monitoring and extinguishing disturbances on property. Responsible for departmental budget, training and development, security reports, personnel actions including hiring, coaching and discipline, and terminations. |
| Job duties: | Requirements:
Ideal candidate must possess expceptional people skills, have a passion for guest service, attention to detail, and strong operational experience. The candidate must be proficient in staff management and training and be exceptionally goal oriented. Computer literacy is required. At least 5 years security management experience, Bachelor's degree preferred, but commensurate experience is acceptable. Experience in casino/gaming industry preferred. Must have working knowledge with federal, state, and gaming laws and regulations to ensure compliance on all levels. Must possess ability to interface directly and effectively with staff, management, guests, and local authorities. |
