Casino Careers Online has a client seeking a candidate for a Kitchen Supervisor position.
The position description is as follows:
Ensures that all food preparation meet the established safety and health specifications and company quality standards.
Ensures optimum level of food preparation based on forecasted needs.
Ensures an adequate workforce level is available to meet production needs.
Assists in controlling production cost and product waste.
Responsible for set-up, stocking and service of assigned food outlet(s) using specified methods.
Completes required daily financial documents and reports.
Communicates standard variances to Sous Chef.
Maintains a sanitary, orderly and safe work environment for employees.
Instructs kitchen staff in the safe operation of kitchen equipment and ensures that safety guidelines are followed.
Meets the attendance guidelines of the job, adheres to regulatory, departmental, and company policies.

Requirements:
High school diploma/GED.
Two-year Culinary Arts School or equivalent technical training in food and beverage.
Five years restaurant industry work, including two to three years progressive supervisory experience in food production in a hotel or chain restaurant.
Proven performance in implementing and maintaining proper food handling and basic sanitation.
Good interpersonal, customer service and communication skills.
Bilingual and multi-cultural experience preferred.
Salary Range: $13.34 Hourly
