Job description: Casino Careers Online has a client seeking a candidate for a Food and Beverage Manager position.

The position description is as follows:

Food & Beverage Manager reports directly to the General Manager, but has the working relationship with and responsibility to the Director of Gaming Operations for coordinating the department with the other departments within the hotel resort. It is the Manager responsibility to oversee the smooth operations of the kitchen, restaurant, Soda Bar, employee break rooms through out the hotel resort and property (meals, beverages etc.), banquets and special events. The F&B Manager will insure that all applicable sanitation codes are maintained as well as a healthful and safe workplace. The Manager will oversee the hiring, disciplinary actions, employee issues, menu planning, food costs, quality and quantity of food and non-food items and the training for employees. The Food & Beverage Manager is also responsible for the overall concerns regarding Food & Beverage Department and the Budgets, payroll and Policies and Procedures. It is the Food & Beverage Managers responsibility to work closely with the Chef, Purchasing Agent and Vendors. The F& B Director must also work closely with the Supervisors in each food and beverage area insuring the integrity of the department and the sales control process along with compliance procedures set forth by the Hotel Resort Accounting/Audit Department. He/she will also work closely with other department heads to insure promotions, special events, and cooperation of the Food & Beverage Department with other hotel resort functions. And any other duties assigned or pertaining to the job.
Job duties: Requirements:

Must have a High School Diploma or GED equivalent, with at least 10 years experience in Restaurant and/or other type of Food & Beverage operations and have experience in all aspects of the Food & Beverage operations. Education in Hospitality Management and computer skills needed. Must have the ability to manage a complete department in a unified and professional manner and provide positive direction with authority and confidence. Ability to enact and use cost control systems, budgets and POS systems. Personnel management skills are very important. The Manager will be required to keep abreast of trends within the industry, attend appropriate meetings, training seminars as well as visit other Food & Beverage operations (including hotel resorts) as time and logistics allow. Must be 21 years old or older.Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment drug/alcohol screen and background investigation. Native American preference will be given.
