Casino Careers Online has a client seeking a candidate for a Buyer position.
The position description is as follows:
Duties / Responsibilities / Description:
Worldwide commodity management responsible for developing optimal purchasing arrangements, including contracts and/or blanket purchase orders and special stocking strategies, ensuring that the assigned goods and services are available when required, in conformance to specifications at the lowest total cost to the corporation.
Position requires a moderate amount of leadership, strategic perspective, independent problem-solving skills, self-starting initiative, and effective, professional communication, both inside and outside the Company.
Position magnitude: maximize suppliers’ on-time delivery, service levels, and quality performance in accordance with the supplier agreements or the stated company terms and conditions. Maintain Master Data and PO database integrity completely and thoroughly to insure accurate and timely SAP procurement operations. This individual must continually maintain and promote a positive and highly professional image. Teamwork with other departments is required.
The individual must be organized and analytical.

Requirements:
Qualifications:
- B.S degree in Business or Technical field, or equivalent.
- Strong organization and analytical skill required.
- 5 years of combined Material Planning or MRO procurement experience.
- Computer literacy in Microsoft Office tools required.
- Must demonstrate proficiency in one or more ERP tools.
- I.S.M. or APICS certification desirable.
- Fabricated parts purchasing background preferred.
- Security investigation will be conducted.
