Job description
Job description: 12 month contract for a Master Scheduler for a manufacturing assembly plant in Milton.

SUMMARY OF JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:


· Maintain and execute of Material/Production Planning processes for products under your responsibility.

· Monitor shop floor orders and scheduling. Communicate capacity concerns.

· Analyze and reschedule orders to ensure material availability and inventory levels.

· Issue and receive disposition on non-conformance reports including surplus, scrap, and returned materials.

· Maintain material availability and inventory targets.

· Create and maintain planning bills.

· Maintain master schedule to support customer orders and planning bills.

· Work with end users gathering forecasting information to ensure material availability to meet requested ship dates.

· Work with Purchasing Dept to communicate with suppliers on material availability issues, on-time delivery, broadcasting, and overall performance.

· Coordinate and act as liaison for assigned cost reduction team. Update and report results monthly.

· Resolve Discrepancies on orders to resolve invoice mismatch situations.

· Production Implementation - material availability of new and disposition of superceded products.





REQUIRED EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:


- College diploma or university degree specializing in Business or Material Management
- 2-3 years experience working in a material (or related) role
- APICS certification or working towards
- MRP II Exposure
- Drive, initiative, and willingness to do whatever it takes to maximize potential of both individuals and business performance
- Working knowledge of CSSM
