| Job description: |
International, non-profit animal protection organization seeks a Project Manager to work with staff members in the Web and IT departments to coordinate interactive projects. This is an exciting opportunity to work at a fast paced organization using cutting-edge technology. |
| Req. candidate profile : |
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
• At least five years of experience working on interactive projects, preferably as an application developer, Web site designer, or project manager and ideally in a Microsoft Web Server environment
• Knowledge of HTML and an understanding of databases, scripting, and Web development
• Experience with some of the following topics: CMS; Web application frameworks; and blogs and community and social networking solutions
• Experience in dealing with third-party solution providers, such as streaming video providers, e-mail marketing providers, and e-commerce partners
• High level of organization and excellent attention to detail
• Ability to anticipate problems, spot opportunities, and take a heavily proactive approach to responsibilities
• Knowledge of Internet metrics, including click-through, conversion, effective CPMs, etc.
• Excellent communication skills
• Knowledge of animal rights issues and commitment to the objectives of the organization
