It is the responsibility of the Chief Enterprise Architect to serve in an ongoing partnership with customers, maintaining in-depth knowledge of business operations, strategies, information requirements, and priorities. The Chief Enterprise Architect will have an in-depth understanding of our clint core systems portfolio in order to provide effective technical consulting and solution development and proposal generation (technology solutions only). Additionally, the Chief Enterprise Architect should have comprehensive understanding of CRM in a multi-tier distribution model, manufacturing and supply chain tools for Warehouse/Transportation Management, Enterprise Resource Planning (Financial), Supply Chain Event Management, Materials Resource Planning Tools, B2B integration as well contact center and support tools. |
| Req. candidate profile : |
Minimum 15 years of experience in either of the following:
Development, implementation, and maintenance of large-scale systems, preferably across multiple hardware and software platforms
Minimum 10 years of experience in systems development and methodologies or related experience with a minimum of 5-7 years building full life cycle applications.
Minimum 5-7 years experience in a senior architect role in a global organization
Minimum 5-7 years experience in business process re-engineering or process improvement involving broad-based information systems, utilizing tools and techniques to effect business change; business systems analysis experience.
With revenues in excess $2 billion (work with a Global 500 business preferred) or as a technology consultant at the senior manager level or higher during which technical pre-sales work was required.
Direct experience and success in defining and implementing architecture for ERP and e-commerce interfaces.
Should have specific knowledge of some of the following technical areas:
*ERP Systems
Commercial software development, packaging and release management
Internet Technologies (J2EE, XML)
Business Processes Re-engineering
Loosely coupled architectures and EAISOA and Object oriented design and development Relational Database Design and Data Analysis System testing standards compliance and benchmarking experience Should have a general knowledge of some of the following technical areas:
Development Environments
Hardware/Network
Messaging and Inter-process Communications
Systems Infrastructure
Client/Server and Distributed System Design
Object Orientated Design and Development
Object Database Design and Data Analysis
Must be hands-on, detailed oriented and have the ability to quickly adapt to changes and new ideas.
Must have excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively and clearly, in writing and/or orally, both in one-on-one and group presentation situations.
A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline with an IT focus is preferred. A graduate degree in Business or Management is a plus.
In depth practical knowledge experience applying the Zachman Framework or related architecture model.
Five or more years of experience in which one of more of the following occurred:
Demonstrated high competency in the execution of multiple large projects
Demonstrated competency in strategic thinking and leadership with strong abilities in relationship management
BPR technology or method.
