The Principal Consultant will operate under the guidance of the Regional Consulting Director – but will provide the primary solution design expertise and application development leadership for the successful delivery of. They will work directly with clients and Partners to lead the overall application design and development of the project plan. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. |
| Job duties: |
Utilize OLAP/BI/Business Performance Management, business knowledge, SQL/Analysis service and Microsoft Excel skills to successfully deliver solutions; 2) Work with partners and clients to develop an overall solution vision and effectively communicate initiatives with the entire project team; 3) Communicate and present ideas and solutions to project sponsors, client team members, and partners; 4) Provide solution design and implementation best practices leadership throughout the full life cycle of one or more solution implementations; 5) Apply solution design Best Practices to mentor other project team members and provide knowledge transfer to clients and partners; 6) Work with diverse and distributed teams in a collaborative manner regardless of assigned role or reporting lines; 7) Capture, integrate, communicate, educate, and apply the knowledge, experiences, and lessons-learned that are acquired from each engagement; 8) 100% travel required |
| Req. candidate profile : |
5+ years of implementing CPM or BI applications in a hand-on consulting role for large corporations across a broad range of industries; 2) Deep multi-dimensional (OLAP) product expertise on one or more of the following platforms: MS OLAP (Analysis Services), TM/1, Cognos, OFA, or Essbase; 3) Expertise in RDMS technologies and ETL tools – especially MS SQL Server and Data Transformation Services (DTS); 4) Expert level MS Excel skills required; 5) Familiarity with Windows 2003/2000 operating system, its security model, and IIS; 6) Excellent communication and presentation skills required; 7) Superior interpersonal, team building, and leadership skills required; 8) Bachelor's degree in related discipline required; 9) CPA/MBA, Microsoft MCSE or MCP certification, proficiency in MDX and SQL programming are big pluses |
