Lead Backend Software Engineer – Pittsburgh, PA

Job duties: As a Lead Backend Engineer you will...

•Be the development lead on a team of 3+ engineers in an Agile Scrum development environment
•Architect and build new features and enhancements to our product
•Make critical decisions that shape our technology stack

Our client’s current technology stack includes Amazon Web Services,Apache Solr, Redis, MySQL, and Symfony/PHP. They love learning new technologies and finding the right tool or technology for the job. They are passionate about software and capable of tackling technical challenges at all ends of their tech stack.
Req. candidate profile : Skills, Requirements, and Responsibilities

•Expert skill architecting, developing, and scaling web applications
•Exceptional problem solving abilities
•Track record of successful software projects
•Passion for writing reliable, efficient, testable, and elegant code
•Experience as a development lead having both architectural and work oversight over a small team of developers
