Seedco’s technical and financial assistance complements the model programs and strives to build the capacity of community partners and small businesses through the introduction of sound, outcome based management practices.
The Program Associate will serve as staff for Seedco’s Program Development department. The Program Associate will be a key member of a small team of colleagues in the Program Development Department and will be engaged in all aspects of program development and management—background research, research and design of new initiatives in the areas of workforce development, economic development and asset building, drafting of concept papers, developing proposals for funding, and working closely with program staff.

| Job duties: |
Qualifications
• Graduate degree required. MBA, MPP or MPA preferred.
• At least 3+ years of relevant experience in nonprofit management or working in a nonprofit setting.
• Strong writing, analytical, strategic thinking and research skills a must. Grant writing experience a plus.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Must be organized and detail oriented, and have the ability to work effectively under pressure in both a team setting and individually.
• Must be able to manage multiple projects.
• Experience working with non-profit organizations, community groups and/or with government agencies preferred.
• Knowledge and experience in workforce and economic development preferred.
• Commitment to innovative community and economic development, and nonprofit capacity building.
