The Business Intelligence Sales Specialist, is the sales expert who collaborates with Account Managers, Marketing, Sales Management and Product Development to ensure that the product/service is appropriately positioned to prospective customers. This person will assist with the entire sales cycle of the product to our client.
Responsibilities:
• Work closely with our Product management team to ensure that our business intelligence product, the Information Edge, is meeting our clients’ needs.
•Participate in calls/demos as the subject matter expert
•Assist in the response to Request for Proposals
•Conduct regularly scheduled on-site and web seminars
•Work very closely with Marketing to devise and execute marketing strategies that raise awareness and maximize lead generation out of a given territory
•Provide training and coaching to colleagues on a given offering.

| Job duties: |
Required Experience:
• A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
• One to two years working in a direct sales or sales support role
• Prior experience in selling or supporting Business Intelligence applications
• Working knowledge of databases and data warehouse concepts
• Demonstrated ability to master complex software and database systems
• Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills
• Knowledge of non-profit market strongly preferred
