| Job description: | Casino Careers Online has a client seeking a candidate for a Project Manager - R&D position.
The position description is as follows: Researches and coordinates projects among Engineering and Game Development group, as well as establishing and maintaining external relations with other firms and vendors. Primarily ensures project completion and implementation of variables necessary for successful projects as outlined by R&D. Investigates facts and prepares data to address technical, regulatory, legal or compliance issues, patent issues or ascertains information in order to resolve project restrictions or timelines by performing the following duties. Reports to senior manager any discrepancies, changes or recommendations, and/or problems for resolution. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Apply technical expertise and project management experience to manage and deliver successful implementation of technical projects. Align and coordinate timelines and information in order for goals to be met. Prepare reports and recommendations after collaboration and verification with various departments on technical or regulatory licensing issues. Manage key product development projects through the communication with all R&D resources. Coordinate creation and release of all product requirement guidelines; work with Webmaster to release information on intranet and other sites, as needed. Assist with creation of marketing materials. Utilize MS Office or MS Project to complete assignment. |
| Job duties: | B.S. degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, project management, or related fields. Minimum three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience in technical environment and/or gaming industry.
Bilingual in Japanese-English preferred. Strong and proven communicator; leader in delivering successful implementation of technical projects. Flexible, multi-tasker, analytical logical; work experience in global or international team operations preferred. |
