|| The Physician Recruiter is responsible for attracting, recruiting and retaining Physicians for urgent care centers. Urgent care centers offer a high-quality, convenient option for treating most injuries and illnesses, seven days a week, with a full medical team including a doctor always on site.
We are seeking a Physician Recruiter in the area to help us with the growth and development of new urgent care centers in Southern Virginia with centers already open in Roanoke, Danville, Lynchburg & Salem. The ideal candidate will have the capability to independently execute sourcing strategies for physician searches, and must possess the executive presence and mindset to establish the sourcing strategy and develop output that demonstrates a mastery of sourcing for this level of recruitment.
|| Major responsibilities include:
Generate and develop leads through print advertisements, cold calling, referrals, internet sources, email blasts, and conventions.
Establish ongoing relationships with residency programs
Develop comprehensive recruiting plans for specific vacancies as appropriate
Initiate contact and timely follow-up with prospective physicians
Create outside of the box opportunities to network, recruit, and place physicians
Directly call providers to inform them of opportunities and to generate interest in openings
Participate in on campus, seminar, association and other events to network and develop contacts for potential candidates

|| Successful candidates will have:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required
3+ years of recruiting experience in working in a medium to high volume recruiting environment (corporate, physician or prior university recruiting preferred).
Focus on results, ability to drive the recruiting process and provide responsive follow-up to both candidates and hiring teams.
Attention to detail with exceptional analytical and process management skills
A demonstrated passion for recruiting and providing amazing customer service
Superior written and verbal communication skills
Highly aggressive personality
Self-starter, motivated and results oriented
Ability to meet and exceed quotas
Able to work in a fast paced environment
Understanding of hospital structure is highly desirable, but not mandatory
