Director of Human Resources – New Providence, NJ
The Director of Human Resources will be responsible for developing visionary programs and practices that drive the company’s success. This is a hands-on, bottom-line business role focused on putting the “human” back into Human Resources and developing an HR team that is “Resourceful”. The successful individual will also be required to roll up their sleeves and be a strong leader to two full time HR team members.

HR generalist experience as a full business partner to senior leadership and employee base
Business acumen and analytical skills with exposure to line and corporate functions
Expert technical skills with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Experience with ADP Payroll and HRIS and developing a paperless HR environment
Demonstrable track record of outstanding business judgment
Ability to work effectively as a valuable partner with senior management teams
Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills
Demonstrated ability to lead and develop Human Resources staff members
Demonstrated ability to serve as a successful participant on the executive management
Excellent corporate communication skills, both verbal and written
Self-directed and able to contribute individually and as a member of a team
Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment and act with a sense of urgency
Excellent time management, planning and organizational skills.
Broad knowledge with all Federal and state regulations, including current and upcoming HealthCare Reform provisions
Proficiency in wage and hour, DOL and IRS legislation
Strong familiarity with OFCCP and Affirmative Action
BA or BS required
Minimum of a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Human Resources, Business, Organization Development.
Minimum of 10+ years of progressive HR leadership experience
Active affiliation with appropriate Human Resources networks and organizations and ongoing community involvement, preferred.
Ability to influence behavior with resources not under direct control by effective communication, superior knowledge and outstanding problem solving thought processes.
Possess ongoing affiliations with leaders in successful companies and organizations that practice effective Human Resources Management.
Ability to plan and manage in a rapidly changing environment
Strong analytical skills

Familiarity with Canadian and Mexican employment and payroll law a plus
